Jumpstart Your Business
 
The MEED Center is offering a new business training program in conjunction with the Texas Workforce Commission. This program begins with a half day long comprehensive workshop designed to help you jumpstart your business whether you are a start-up looking for a good foundation, or an ongoing enterprise looking for some support.
 
After the workshop, you will receive unlimited support from the MEED Center to implement what you have learned.
 

Workshop Instructors


We are excited to have some outstanding trainers as instructors for this program.

 

Ellen Castro is an author, coach and consultant for Fortune 500 companies in 11 countries. She is on the faculty of Business Leadership Center at the SMU Cox School of Business. Monica Cornetti owns EntrepreNow! where she trains entrepreneurs. She is a published author and sought after international speaker. Terry Allen has an event management and small business training company. You will know him from the Real Men Cook Dallas event.

Workshop Schedule

We will be offering the workshop 3 times a month. Dates and locations will be posted here as they are scheduled. If you are a non profit organization and would like to host one of these workshops and receive a discount for your members, please contact us.

Workshop Registration

The cost of the Jumpstart Your Business program is $40. This includes the workshop, which you may repeat once for free, as well as the unlimited ongoing support. Scholarships are available for participants who are low income and discounts are available to community partners who host the workshop.
