The Multi-ethnic Education and Economic Development Center, also known as the MEED Center, is a community resource for business information and education, financial/accounting services, management assistance, marketing support and incubator space. The BAC program also offers assistance with business plans and microloans in partnership with the Plan Fund.
We offer assistance in the form of group workshops and seminars as well as individual counseling sessions. In 2007, we began offering business coaching as part of an expanded service to our clients.
Participants in our Business Incubator Program receive cubicle space, office equipment such as a computer and access to fax, printer and copier machines, administrative support, use of conference room space as well as all the technical business assistance offered for a low monthly fee.
In addition to business education, we offer Financial Literacy and Homebuying workshops. We co-host a number of events during the year to benefit needy elementary school students and to honor excellent high school graduates. We partner with other community organizations to leverage on and complement each other's mission.
